As much as I love thinking outside the box, I find that strategy sessions often find their solutions, or at least a good direction, more easily when the group is inside a box thinking through a process with clear goals and objectives at the end.

A curriculum desires to be more than a list of learning objects.

I prefer to tackle the curriculum as a whole and design the architecture from the bottom up to target the core learning objectives and student experience as a holistic system.

Sometimes a single idea can shift the paradigm and get the job done, other times it's many things all coming together in just the right way.

Whether it's injecting new methodologies into an older system or establishing structure in something loose or undefined, I have extensive experience auditing training programs to identify gaps and designing effective solutions to address them.

The first time I got my hands on a rapid authoring tool I'm pretty sure a tear of joy slid down my cheek. I love being able to get personal and hands-on, combining my writing and ideas with visual design and interactives.
